Okay, so not sure if my second concoction of the day would be completely raw to a pure raw'ist, but I'm still calling it that. Reason being is because the process that steel cut or oat grouts go through in packaging requires steaming, but regardless they are still quite nutritious and delicious.
My recipe for this concoction goes as follows.
1/2 cup of Oat grouts or Steel Cut Oats
1/3 cup warm water (not hot, just warm)
1 Banana sliced (personally I like to use the slightly green ones because they are less sweet, but
whatever you fancy works too)
1/3 cup Alfalfa Sprouts
1 tsp Maple Syrup
1/4 tsp Cinnamon
Put the Oats in a bowl and pour the water over them to soak while you prepare the rest of the ingredients. Slice the Banana into 1/4 in. slices and cut in half. Place Bananas on top of the oats in 2 batches. After the first, sprinkle some Cinnamon on top and then give it a little stir, so they can all be friends. Then top the mixture with the rest of the Bananas, another sprinkle or so of Cinnamon and drizzle the Maple Syrup on top. Place the Alfalfa Sprouts around the edge of the bowl on top of the mixture and enjoy!
1 tsp Agave Nectar
3/4 tsp Water
Just stir all the ingredients together and drizzle over your favorite fruit!
See ya on the flip side and thanks for reading health foodies!
